U&I Mentoring

In partnership with Quincy Public Schools, the U&I Mentoring program pairs recent immigrant middle school mentees with high school mentors to support them in their academic progress, prepare for the transition to high school, and adapt to life in the U.S. with healthy biculturalism. The goal of the program is to foster empowering youth relationships between recent immigrant mentees and their high school mentors.

Empower Youth

Empower Youth is a program created to equip and empower low-income high-school English language learners (ELL) students. The goal of the program is to offer opportunities for youth to not only leverage their culture but to also build workforce readiness skills and learn about their new environment.

Living Out Loud (LOL)

Created in partnership with Walker Therapeutic & Educational Programs, and Quincy Public Schools to meet the well-being care of our youth communities, ‘Living Out Loud’ (LOL) wellness groups help immigrant youths stay active and engaged during the school year.

2022 Summer Nights Program

Resources

  • The B.S.A.R. (Breaking the Silence on All Racism) project created by our Massachusetts Services Manager, Rockey Chan in partnership with MA State Representative, Tackey Chan. With the recent rise in anti-Asian discrimination, QARI felt it was important to provide a platform for individuals to voice their concerns and for local officials to listen. QPS (Quincy Public Schools) committee/staff and our CEO Philip Chong were invited to engage in the panel. QARI will continue to partner with local organizations and groups to expand this project so that more youth will be able to share their stories, and more importantly, create change all around Massachusetts.

  • Each year, QARI awards several graduating high school seniors from the Quincy, Randolph, Braintree, Milton, Weymouth, and the South Shore areas who have demonstrated exceptional services to their community.
