QARI's longstanding ESOL classes support students in developing their English speaking and listening, reading, and writing skills.
Students with foundation through advanced levels of English will learn speaking and listening, reading and writing skills. The focus is on preparation for college or workplace environments.
Online classes are available for students in Massachusetts and New York. Students in New York City may also be able to attend in-person ESOL classes - please call (332) 237-2981 for more information about in-person classes.
The following are the requirements for all QARI ESOL students:
1. Attend 80% of classes.
2. Inform teachers of any absences.
3. Commit time and dedication to the class in one full session.
4. Be present for all tests.
Class Levels: Foundation, Basic, Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced.
Class times: Morning 9:00 - 10:30 or 10:30 - 12:00
Evenings 6:30 - 8:00
Each class has two sessions per week (Monday and Wednesday, Tuesday and Thursday or Wednesday and Friday).
Class days and times depend on student levels, availability of space and student preferences.
Virtual extra help sessions are held twice a week for all students to review, get help, and ask questions.
